SOCIETY OF COST ESTIMATING AND ANALYSIS

CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

SCEA is dedicated to improving cost estimating and analysis in government and industry and enhancing professional competence and achievements of its members. SCEA publishes a body of knowledge and provides training, certification, and forums for shared experience among its members through conferences, publications, and local chapters.

SCEA offers a Corporate Sponsorship Program to organizations which recognize Cost Estimating/Analysis as a core competency with importance to future success of their enterprise. The Program is designed to provide organizations with tools for promoting professional competency of staff involved in the practice and for adopting business standards and processes which will result in maximum effectiveness of its cost estimating resources. There are no upfront program fees or recurring assessments to participate.

Under the Corporate Sponsorship Program, sponsoring enterprises commit to the following:

  1. Endorsement of SCEA membership and active participation by their staff in Local Chapter activities as well as National Conferences and Programs.
  2. Adoption of the SCEA Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst program as a recognized standard of professional competency within their enterprise
  3. Endorsement of SCEA Certification as a professional achievement and key factor in career advancement qualification within the enterprise.
  4. Joint rights to publicize the Sponsorship.
  5. Pledge of financial support of SCEA activities through participation as Exhibitors, Sponsors, Speakers, and attendees at conferences, and as advertisers in SCEA publications

In return, SCEA provides the Corporate Sponsor with:

  1. Group discount rates at SCEA National Conferences.
  2. Preferred pricing for SCEA copyrighted training materials.
  3. Preferred pricing on advertisements placed in SCEA Publications and on the Cost Estimating Career Center web site.
  4. Special recognition at SCEA National Conferences, in SCEA Publications, and on the SCEA web site.
  5. Periodic listings of active and expired memberships and certification holders and customized administrative procedures to fit Sponsor's needs.
  6. Permission to use SCEA logo and to publicize SCEA sponsorship.
The SCEA Corporate Sponsorship Program is available to both Commercial and Government enterprises who wish to publicly endorse SCEA as a preferred partner in the profession of Cost Estimating and Analysis.
